Our next leg of the trip was to go to Valparaiso, but we actually stayed in Vina del Mar. It's a little beach town on the coast of Chile. I guess we are spoiled in Brazil, because we were very underwhelmed by the beach and the town. We spent most days lounging and just meandering through the city. There isn't much to say about Vina del Mar, but we did really enjoy walking the streets of Valparaiso on New Years Eve day. Every turn we took had a different piece of artwork. It was fun to see the creativity of the artists and how they meshed their artwork into the environment.
