I watched this video that explained all the features of my camera. I've had the camera for over 7 years and really have just shot in automatic. Part of my goal is to learn how to shoot in manual. After learning about all the functions and features I ended up watching another video explain the aperture, shutter speed, ISO, and light. I quickly learned it is way more complex than just pointing and clicking.
I followed along with the video and took some test shots, playing with the settings. Here are my results.
Learning: I have a lot of work to do, and I think it's best to practice on stationary objects (read: not Tae!). Although the pictures are horrible I learned how to adjust the settings, now I need to work on focus.
I did work on editing a little too. I took the pictures of Tae in the bath last post and edited their brightness and color. I really love how they turned out.
Reflection: It is important to plan and prep. I had some time at an appointment and wanted to watch the video, but didn't have it loaded so I couldn't watch it. Lesson learned.
Onto week 3!

nice try.
all the best regarding learning new skill.
my boss told me see a surgery, assist a surgery, do 3-4 surgeries and then come back and watch a master do the same.
only then will you learn how to do it.
think it works for all skills
