HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS

Two weeks back from holidays and I still can't stop thinking about how much fun we had with family in South Carolina. What a joy it was to watch Tae and Elea deepen their relationships with their cousins, aunts & uncles, and Grammy & Poppy. I only wish the Kuemmerlins (and Watkins) could have been with us too!

SCHOOL PICTURES: STEALING MY MONEY AND MY HEART

Tae Tazwell (3 years 9 months)  

This is Tae's first "real" year of school and because he is growing up way too fast for my liking I decided to bite the bullet and purchase his school photos.  Given our huge family and buying school photos of all of us would have been as much as a house mortgage, it was a treat when mom and dad bought our school pictures. I remember writing little notes on the back of them and passing them out to my friends. In fact, I'm sure somewhere in my parents' house there are shoeboxes of exchanged school pictures from all my years of childhood. But I digress. 

I decided to interview Tae so I can keep his innocence and sweetness in my mind forever.

CHRISTMAS RECAP

We are back from halfway around the world with full hearts and a bunch of memories. Our time at mom and dad's flew by in the blink of an eye. It was great to be with some of our family and unwind from work for a couple weeks.
